Large Vintage Hand Painted Double Sided Metal Pub Sign ‘Oak Brewerys Daniel Lambert' – VIN1291W
The artwork beautifully replicates the iconic 1806 portrait by Benjamin Marshall, depicting Lambert – celebrated by British folklore as one of the heaviest men in history – seated in a large chair wearing his signature red coat and waistcoat.
The natural age-related paint distressing, minor weathering and its robust top hanging iron framing & brackets adds immense character and confirms its history as a functional piece of advertising.
