Condition is generally good for its significant age, displaying a beautiful deep tone and rich mahogany patina. Please note there is a slight wobble / play in the joints, which is very common for period chairs of this era. The striking scrolled arms also show authentic signs of age and wear to the finish, adding to its historic character. It remains perfectly functional as a decorative or accent piece, but a buyer may want to re-glue the joints if it is intended for heavy daily use.
