Antique English solid oak late18th century Georgian dresser. The drawer fronts feature a distinct incised border moulding typical of provincial George III cabinetry, finished with brass swan-neck handles (one missing) The decorative pierced wooden bracket connecting the leg to the main frame adds structural support while softening the transition to the slender square tapered leg. Hundreds of years of use have mellowed the naturally tannic wood into a warm, honey-brown hue. £450
