Fine example of an original oak Wainscot chair, probably 18th century. The plain oak panelled seat contrasts with the finely carved solid oak panelled back. Sweeping arms are secured by turned supports running down through the seat to the base where four straight stretchers form the typical characteristics of this fabulous original antique early chair.
