Antique letter from Buckingham Palace dated June 20th 1857.
The letter is from Queen Victoria and reads “General Sir Henry F Ponsonby is commanded by the Queen to thank Sir Walter Sykes for his letter of the 16th with its enclosure, Buckingham Palace 20th June 1857”The letter bears Queen Victoria’s Royal black wax seal.
